where nature inspires & stories unfold

—— your journey begins here.

every story finds its voice.

Inspiration is everywhere, but sometimes we need to become our own muse. By living authentically and embracing our passions, we can spark creativity in others and ourselves. The best muses live boldly and create fearlessly.

where it all began

More than fifteen years ago, I landed in Iceland with a suitcase full of hopes and dreams, and absolutely no idea how to pronounce Eyjafjallajökull. Since then, I’ve mastered the art of parenting in Arctic winds, embraced the chaos of midnight sun bedtimes, and learned that “just a short hike” in Icelandic means bring snacks and a survival kit. From breathtaking landscapes to everyday mom struggles, this blog is my wild ride through life, adventure, and figuring it all out—one cup of coffee at a time.

inspirations by nature

Iceland is a never-ending source of inspiration for me. The wild landscapes, from fiery volcanoes to icy glaciers, feel like something out of a dream. The ever-changing skies, the midnight sun, and the northern lights never fail to amaze me. Then there’s the culture—rich, proud, and deeply connected to nature and storytelling. The history is filled with sagas of fearless explorers and strong-willed survivors, shaping a unique Icelandic mentality: resilient, independent, and a little quirky (in the best way). And the language? A beautiful, ancient puzzle that somehow makes even everyday words sound poetic. Iceland isn’t just where I live—it’s a place that constantly inspires me.

Wandering through Iceland’s endless green moss, you might just lose track of time—and in the process, find the inspiration you never knew you were looking for.

why Icelandic and Lithuanian ?

I’ve been living in Iceland since 2009, but I’m originally from Lithuania. Back home, I studied Lithuanian Philology—language and literature—and in Iceland, I continued with Icelandic studies. Lithuanian is my mother tongue, and after years of learning and using both languages, I realized I could help others do the same. Whether it’s Icelandic or Lithuanian, I know how tricky languages can be, but with one-on-one lessons, I can make the basics easier and more practical for anyone wanting to learn!
